Covered in detailed hand-painted sugar leaves, this cake is always super fun to make and definitely a statement piece for any gathering. It would also make a beautiful tier on a Fall wedding cake.

For timeless love! As a geology major, I felt compelled to make a cake that represents the fossilized specimens studied in my mineralogy and petrology classes- ammonites, megalodon teeth, and sea shells (all hand carved in Italian meringue buttercream). The golden branch with unusually shaped leaves is from a ginko tree, basically a living fossil species unchanged from 200 million years ago.

Just an example of a style I find to be so fun! This cake is decorated with caramel popcorn, toasted marshmallow fluff, and a organic honey drip.

A perfect statement piece, this hexagon cake is inspired by marbled statues. I covered the exterior in white chocolate ganache and made a marble effect fondant for the herringbone tiles. This would be a really cool bottom tier to a wedding cake as well!

Inspired by Beach House’s song “Saltwater”, I hand painted this fondant with blue edible ink, and formed white chocolate “sails” on top that resemble the movement of waves crashing on the shore.

This semi-naked lemon cake includes fresh Louisiana figs, blackberries, and blueberries. Garnished with a handmade life size magnolia flower and a light caramel drizzle! This style is definitely one of my favorites at the moment!

A simple vintage swiss meringue buttercream wedding cake with florals formed by hand! This technique is so fun and identical to painting with a palette knife on canvas. The textures add so much depth and take the look to the next level!

For all the travelers out there like myself, this cake is decorated with a mixture of gold and rose gold foil continents. This style would be absolutely beautiful when applied to a multi-tier wedding cake!
